Finding Out What Is The Most Easy Guitar Song For You To Master

Chances are if you're looking for an easy guitar song to learn that you're not the most proficient guitar player around. If you're just starting out or wanting to expand the total number of songs you know learning an easy song can help motivate you into playing more. You should try to consider a variety of different genres, but above all be sure to practice as much as you can.

Consider learning some 90s or 80s metal songs
This may not be the first genre you think of when you're contemplating picking out an easy song to learn, but you may be surprised. Though you may want to stay away from some of the Trash Metal or Speed Metal genres there are others that are much more accessible. If you try to focus on some of the slower, melodic solos in some of the 80s and 90s metal you might be surprised to find how easy they are. If they're a different style than you're used to you may find it a little more difficult to grasp at first. But, when you're playing this kind of music anyone who hears you will assume you're a legendary guitarist.

Be careful some songs are much more difficult than they sound
Certain genres of music, namely folk music and even some country can be much more difficult than they sound. What seems like a simple few chords strummed can actually be ridiculously complex to the novice guitar player. Some examples of this are Crosby, Stills, and Nash, as well as some newer bands like Incubus. If you set out to learn a song without looking at sheet music or guitar tabs for it you might find yourself becoming severely disillusioned. Be sure to check out the music of a song before you say to yourself or anyone else that you're going to learn a certain song.

Above all be sure to practice
If you set aside a certain amount of time per day then you can improve your guitar playing skills in no time at all. Even the most difficult of guitar songs can be mastered with enough practice. It is important to set aside a certain amount of time specifically to practice without distractions. Chances are if you say to yourself that you'll worry about practicing later that by the time it is later you will be distracted by something else and never get around to practicing. If you set aside enough time to thoroughly master an easy guitar song it will make others think that it took you weeks, or even months to master.
