My latest article is on Savinelli pipes over on Squidoo. It gives a short history of the company and the reasons why I consider Savinelli to be an ideal choice for the pipe smoker.

They are really high quality and have been around for more than 150 years. They are probably the world's most popular make of pipe and can fetch very good prices at auction for 'estate' pipes.

I love buying old estate pipes and refurbishing them. I received a Savinelli De Luxe from the USA this week and I can't wait to refurbish it. I always like to restore and thoroughly disinfect estate pipes before using them or selling them on.
